Sara Harris (formerly Sara Barnard) and her family of eight (plus six rescue pets!) make their home in Katy, Texas where they enjoy frequent trips to play in the ocean and immerse themselves in the majestic history of the Texas coast. Sara has written novels for publication since 2011 and has won awards in the genres of Historical Romance, Amish Romance, Medieval Historical, Children's Fiction, and Children's Nonfiction. She holds her Bachelor of Arts degree in Medieval History, is a member of Romance Writers of America, and is a certified special education teacher, which is a blessing since words like autism, Asperger's, and apraxia (each with their own blessings and curses) fill their home daily. These days, instead of teaching in the classroom, she helps her husband with his newly-opened plumbing business (and learns so much!) and teaches CCE classes at their church twice a week. Sara has many forthcoming novels in a plethora of genres, like medieval historical (featuring some of her favorite Bad Boys of History, King Henry VIII and Vlad the Impaler AKA Count Dracula), contemporary romance, pirate romance, medical romance, and an entirely new line of historical Amish! Look for her four-book Amish series titled Rebekah's Keepsakes from Vinspire Publishing coming in 2019!
